Business Ethics: Did You Know? Would You Be Scared To Vote For Mccain? by MargartWalder

Lobbyist, McCain, Potential romance gets the lobbyist everything her clients were seeking.

On Feb, 21, 2008, two highly respected newspapers, the Washington Post (source 1), and the New York Times (source 2.), published articles detailing rumors of an improper relationship between McCain and lobbyist Vicki Iseman. McCain participated in Senate as a member of the Senate Commerce Committee when Iseman was lobbying the committee. McCain wrote letters in 1998 and 1999 to the FCC encouraging it to uphold marketing agreements allowing a television company to control two stations in the same city, a position which Iseman had been advocating on behalf of her client Glencairn Ltd. (now Cunningham Broadcasting). See source 2. McCain also introduced a bill to create tax incentives for minority ownership of stations, which several businesses Iseman represented were seeking. BESIDES HIS PERSONAL SHORT COMINGS, THERE ARE 101 REASONS THAT WOULD PREVENT ME TO VOTE FOR HIM.
